Default I think my opponent thinks I\'m FOS

My first hand at this table, and I post in the BB. About 20 datamined hands tell me nothing about the opponent except that he's not extremely anything.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is BB with K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
4 folds, CO calls, 2 folds, Hero raises, CO calls.

Flop: (4.40 SB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, CO raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.20 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO 3-bets, Hero calls.

River: (10.20 BB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets, Hero raises, CO calls.

Final Pot: 14.20 BB
Main Pot: 14.20 BB, between CO and Hero.

Thoughts? I was calling a 3-bet on the river.

That turn checkraise is awfully hot.

Usually I 3-bet the flop. I don't mind the turn c/r though.

I suppose my biggest question on this one revolves around the check/raise on the river...while I'll usually 3-bet the flop here, the flat call & c/r turn play is fairly standard for me, too, in a HU situation.

Did you check raise because you can not beat Q9 or where you check raising anyway. I like the hand the whole way.

With no real read, I slow down after he 3 bet my turn CR and check call the river.

Why not cap the turn?

I actually did think he might have Q9s, with the river counterfeiting his two pair. I thought any other hand that liked this board that much either openraised or limp/reraised preflop.

FWIW, he had AQo, so that shows how goot I am at reading hands. On review, I didn't like my river check/raise unless I was folding to a 3-bet, which I know I wouldn't have.

One little bonus of how I played this hand (and the fact that I was good at showdown) was that after this, I was pretty much able to bully the table at will. I don't think I had another turn check/raise called for the whole session.

I like the river raise. Forfeiting is fun!
