Default Vomit (NC)

Aruba Experience.
Tournament Starting Chips: 10k
Having the board 4 straight on an overpair: 3k
Running into AA once: 1k
Running QQ into AA on an 8 High flop: 6k
Lasting 45 mins in a big buy-in event: priceless.

I'm gonna curl up and die for a while now.

Ouch. Did you win a seat or buy in directly?

Sorry to hear that, man. Now, to drink some beer and enjoy the beach, that's not too bad, isn't it?

This is one of the prevalent misconceptions in the tournament world. If you win a satellite or you buy in directly, it's exactly the same !!!, your own 10 freaking grand.

Hey it could be way worse.

I never feel bad for people who lose right away. It's the ones who play forever and don't do anything, or the ones who build up a huge stack then blow it (see me in WPT Paris) that I feel bad for.

Go drink and stop whining.

Between the early exit and the fact that shana hiatt isn't down there parading in a bikini I suppose you could have hoped for a better experience.

But still, you've got a vacation ahead of you and probably some good side games. So I still despise and envy you.

I wasn't serious as to saying that this makes it OK. I wanted to pull out the "free vacation" line.
