I guess it shows how far off my game was today that I didn't even consider the possibility of a counterfeited two pair until after I posted this hand, but I'll agree that it seems like the most likely scenario here. I also thought he might have decided to get a little crazy with 55.

As an aside, did you even consider raising the turn? I suppose it isn't a very favorable option b/c you can't fold to a 3 bet when you have hidden outs vs. a 2 pair hand.

Also, I bet the river in this spot. Folding to a C/R should be decided b4hand also. I think you're getting called by a busted pair+straight draw or counterfeit 2 pair almost every time, and I think you are almost never looking at a C/R from a hand that you can beat.
