Default Re: MS Casinos

Harrah's CEO Gary Loveman (Harrah's owns the Grand casinos in Gulfport and Biloxi) has publically said that making the casinos land based is a "public safety matter." He also said that it was time to treat the casinos like any other business.

Just about everybody else agrees, except MGM Mirage. They own Beau Rivage, which held up pretty well. They fear that if they have to compete with land based casinos (cheaper to run than the floating sort) that they will be at a disadvantage.
