people could start actually hanging out/chatting in the HUSH irc channel. that'd be fun =)~

[/ QUOTE ]

Such a channel really exists? Does anyone use it at all?

[/ QUOTE ]

Personally I think it's a myth.

how about one that admits in the subject it is useless and has no content

I don't get it...if it says LC or NC, skip it. Some people like to blow off steam and post some NC stuff and they should be allowed to. This came up in the SNG forum a while back (I used to exclusively post there) because some of the older posters got sick of answering the same questions and basically just talked about whatever the f*ck they wanted (super low content). They enjoyed it, the moderators enjoyed it, and the posts from the older posters usually stay up.

The posts that should be locked are the LC or NC posts that aren't labelled.

What's IRC?

I actually know what it is, and even what it stands for, but I haven't used it, and wouldn't know how to do so if I wanted to.

The point is that there are other threads fighting for attention.

It's somewhat nice to know that you still lurk in this forum. Too bad you don't post anymore.

Like what, strategy posts? I have posted hands many many times on this forum and gotten maybe 2-3 responses if I'm lucky. Very few people take the time to answer strategy posts and I doubt it's because someone complaining about bad beats is right at the top. Most people post too many hands and then only respond to the ones posted by well-known posters.

Often if one or 2 good posters respond with an answer and noone challenges it it's because they've said it best and nothing more needs to be said. Saying that the reason strategy posts aren't getting attention is because of the strategy posts is ridiculous.

There are many reasons that threads don't get the attention they deserve and one of them is that there are to many threads fighting for our attention.

The secret to getting Schneids to post is to disagree with NLSoldier about a river 3-bet while he is drunk.
