Default Two PP hands, too strong and too weak?

This one might be simple... Its from memory since I'm at work and aparently its not in my last 200 hands.

Hand #1

Blinds 75/150, I have about 1600 and get KK in middle position. I open raise to 450 and am called by SB who has 6k+.

Pot is 1050 and I have 1100ish left.

Flop comes Q98 3 suited. He checks, I push... bad?

Hand #2
Same 10+1 3TT as above. 6 left, 5 pay.

I like hand 1. Your chips are going in on this hand and i'm not particularly in love with this flop. Push and hopefully AQ calls or even if he folds, you've picked up 1125 in chips.

Hand 2 is trickier.
Depending on reads, i might bet the turn here. This is why being OOP sucks, anyhow the river is more interesting.
If villan is more passive i like a blocking bet of ~1500 and folding to a raise. However if villan is trickier or agressive i like a c/c. YOu've checked twice on the big streets, it's a great opportunity for him to bluff.

First hand looks good. You gotta get value out of KK. The second hand I would probably bet the river around 2000 and fold if reraised.

Hand #1 looks standard. Your other option is to c/r push, but I don't really like it. Too many cards that may make you puke. You'll still get called by AQ, QJ, QT, maybe even JJ or TT or worse.

Hand #2 I'm betting that turn, all day everyday. 2000 or so. If he calls again, I shut it down and check that river, planning on calling a smallish bet. Blocking bet seems kind of bad, as I don't think he's going to call with any 2p worse than top 2, and he'll just jam over the top with any queen. I think it's more likely he takes a stab (with something worse than your set) when you check.
