99 on flop standard play
Hero is hj with 99 Villian is 35/10/3 with like 75 hand
utg 1 limps, utg+2 limps, I raise from hj both players call Flop: A 10 4 rainbow utg+1 checks, utg+2 bets, hero raises, UTG+1 folds, +2 calls Turn: 4 Utg checks, hero bets, he calls Riv- blank he checks, I check behind. I'm kind of confused on how to play this hand with the donk bet into me on the flop any ways he ended up scraping with Q 10 but I don't think I played it disgusting but who knows maybe I did anyways thoughts and other ways to approach this. |

Re: 99 on flop standard play
This is terrible. You should be folding, not raising, on the flop.

Re: 99 on flop standard play
Unless your read on UTG+2 is very LAGgy, I think I can find a flop fold. No strong draws present, two overcards to your pocket pair, and a relatively small pot.

Re: 99 on flop standard play
Just fold the flop sure he could have KJ but not often enough to offset the times you have two outs.
