The borgata actually uses Gemaco cards. You can tell because the red ink on the hearts and the diamonds is much darker than any other card.

As a dealer, I concur regarding the Kem cards. But if you can't go Copag, I say go Gemaco. They're quite heavy, plus they last forever and feel great.

Most of vegas is still using kem cards, and they mostly still suck everywhere. Even at gambler's general store the kems are warping in the display case before they're even sold. Warped cards REALLY suck if you're a dealer, they are much harder to handle. Stick to copag if you have any choice in the matter.

A typical "setup" of two decks, with box, costs about $22 or so for kems, but only about $16 for copags. I don't know prices on the other types.

24.95/setup of KEM and 14.95/setup of Copag (buy 2 get free shipping from the site I mentioned earlier). 3/5 the price, tripple the quality!

If its possible for you to use Dal Negro cards, you should try them. They are one of the best cards I have dealt/played with.

Exactly right thickness and weight. Even they are quite thick and firm, they bend easily, but wont stay bent. Easy to spread and pitch, cards wont stick together, colors last long and look nice.
