How often is this a bluff
10/20 no read
hero has Q [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hero checks, mp bets, hero calls. heads up for the turn of 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] hero checks, mp checks. 3 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] hero bets, mp raises. hero folded. These are the most frustrating situations. How often do you get bluffed in spots like this. Is this a must call without any reads on the guy? tia

Looks like a river check-call or check-fold after the free card play on the flop to me. At micro-limits, this is nearly always a call, but at 10/20 you probably have to consider a bluff raise as a definate possibility.

What did you think he had for you to fold trips, and if you thought he had that then why did you bet/fold the river instead of check-call?

If I'm playing this hand, I'm betting all three streets. If I get raised on the flop, I call, then bet out the turn. I'm betting and calling the river no matter what.
