2 for 2 so far...

Flop: (21 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (5 players)
SLA-A (26/6.5/1.8) checks, Hero bets, UTG+1 calls, Maniac (39/15/3) raises, MP2 folds, SLA-A (26/6.5/1.8) calls, Hero 3-bets, UTG+1 folds, Maniac (39/15/3) caps, SLA-A (26/6.5/1.8) calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (17 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
SLA-A (26/6.5/1.8) checks, Hero...

Leading into the maniac has worked out pretty good so far in eliminating the field - try again to get the last guy out?

An aggressive opponent probably 3-bets the maniac with better hands on the flop anyway. As I said I'm betting out again.

let's look at SLA. given the read and given that he did not protect his hand on the flop by 3 betting, he appears not to have a K or better and appears to be on a strong draw. as such, bet with the xpectation that maniac does his thing. this bet is for equity and value.

I don't like the SLA-A calling again - time to slow down? Or raise it up again for value?

since it is now apparent that we have no fold equity, i think i shut it down now and river the Qh.

Definitely bet that and pray he raises.

That turn was a dream.

I concur. The other player is not folding, and we lose fold equity (a good point brought up by another.)

River: (23 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SLA-A (26/6.5/1.8) checks, Hero...

Check/calling 1BB from maniac here? Overcalling if the SLA-A calls?
