Default Reality TV - Any Good Shows

Hi,

I watched a lot of the big reality shows (and IMHO the better quality ones)
Survivor
The Apprentice
The Amazing Race
American Idol
America's Next Top Model
The Biggest Loser

Well, during the May sweeps they all went off in the same week. I am going through "quality reality tv" withdrawals. So I am posting to see if anyone has any recommendations for any "of quality" reality show that I might like. I've Tivo'ed a few shows but thought they were really really bad and couldn't watch them.

I new to OOT, so if this has been addressed, could some point me to a link. Thanks!

If you have DirecTV you could check out the new Reality Channel that just suddenly appeared on the system last week or something. From flipping around, it seems to have reruns of crap like Joe Millionaire and a bunch of wildest police video kinds of stuff. I can't stand the stuff personally, but apparently there's a market for it.

"The Deadliest Catch" is easily one of the best reality shows ever. You should find it and Tivo it. It's great on every single front except the voiceover, which is a little annoying. Otherwise, it's great.

Also, strangely enough, "Blow Out" is fairly entertaining on Bravo. It's about a repressed homosexual gentleman who runs several beauty salons and has to cope with all of the queens and drama queens and outright bitches who work for him.

It's actually fairly unique, because you can hate every single person in the show without reservation.

Obviously the best reality shows are on MTV, and they constantly play them all day long.

The Real World
Road Rules
Room Raiders
Next
True Life
Made <--- My favorite

I do have directv, I'll see if I can find it. I like the big ones, but A LOT of shows are crappy. I've never gotten into the dating shows (although I couldn't resist the one about the midgets - only 2 episodes too long) or cop shows.

It's channel 250-ish, IIRC. Somewhere near TBS there.

I have watched made. I especially like the ones where people wanted to be made into dancers.

Yes. The best Mades are when people want to reach some athletic pinnacle and (God forbid!) their coach makes them... RUN. The inevitable breakdowns are CLASSIC.
