Default Straddle-Restraddle-Restraddle Hand

Live 1/2 game, 7 handed. Still learning no limit.

Straddle, restraddle, rerestraddle to 16. A kid to my left makes it 57, he has about 60 left behind-- he is a pretty random player, he could have any pair or any two face cards here. Next three players do not look very interested in the hand. One of the other two players (the original restraddler) has a big stack but plays tight against me. The final rerestraddler has a smallish stack, with about 80 behind his restraddle to 16.

I make it 115 with 99 with about 500 behind. Totally wrong?

Well, what are you holding? Or are you making this move with any two?

The 57 is basically a normal raise, but with a lot of dead money in the pot. I'm probably pushing to isolate. The only thing that you should be worried about is the other deep stack waking up with AA-QQ which is highly unlikely. Why both making it 119? You're not going to get away if someone comes over the top except for the other deep stack and that guy is a gambling moron anyways so I wouldn't really want to let him knock me off my hand either after I have put in 1/6 already.

Could someone explain what straddle is? A link would be nice too, I can't find anything. Well, I find too much when I search, same problem...

a straddle is like a big-big blind where UTG posts a blind of double the big blind and then is given the last action.

Example:

1/2 NL game.

SB posts $1 blind.
BB posts $2 blind.
UTG straddles for $4

UTG will now have the last action in this hand.

The rest of the table still only has to call the big blind?

So if anyone minraises PF, UTG can check?

Where do you find these games? Live only?

Does a lot change in strategy? Initial pots are more than twice the size, so you could loosen up a lot...?
