Default Yahoo mail

I use yahoo mail for my pokering emails, and one thing I've noticed that drives me nuts is that they keep sending poker-related email into the Bulk Folder, and let crap I don't want come through to the Inbox.

I've repeatedly marked the poker emails as "Not Spam" and marked stuff I don't want as spam, but they never seem to behave correctly.

When I navigate to Filter Options, it doesn't provide me with any helpful options, and, in fact, I don't seem to be able to actually view my safe/blocked list.

Is anyone sharing the irritation, or am I missing something?

This happens because there is a pre-filter that you have no control over. It happens in other cases as well, I mean besides poker. Kind of a brute force approach by the email nazi's that give users troubles.

There is an option to have the emails that would normally end up in your Bulk Mail box go to your inbox. It's under Mail Options->General Preferences

Yeah, I would do this, but the problem there is that I've had this email account for a long time and also used it to post, unmunged to usenet, so I get a fair amount of spam (nothing crazy, but on the order of 20-40 messages/day).

Add the email addresses from poker sites to your address book and they'll come through as normal mail.

That sounds like a winner - I'll give it a shot, thanks!
