You cannot 3 bet the flop and then check. They will smell a rat. You need to lead and hope you get called down or hopefully popped.

Apart from the preflop cold call, I'd probably play exactly the same in the button's spot. But I'm new to 6max, and bad -- I'd like to hear how other folk believe he should have played.

Bump. Maybe I should hold my peace after asking once, but I really wonder what the villian's play indicates. Preflop might be questionable, but otherwise it looks good to me ... and if it _isn't_ good, I'd really like to know why -- could identitify a buncha leaks in my game.

I think calling is better against many opponants -- much more likely to have a chance to raise the turn.
