Semi bluff from the BB

He was pretty tight for 3 handed play and his Went to SD was pretty low so I figured it was worth a shot. I figured he'd bet out with a K on the flop. I cringed when the button called but he could have a flush draw so I fired another barrel at the river. Maniac?

i wouldn't. he's folding a worse hand, calling a hand that probably will beats you- slowplayed K for fear of a set of 2s? checking induces a possible bluff, so i'd check/call.

I really do not like check-calling here. I would only suggest check-calling if he's the tricky type that will bluff-raise you on the river. Otherwise I think you played it fine.

what's wrong with check/calling? he cold called 2 on the turn- what do you think he's doing that with that he's going to fold on the river- that's the only reason i can figure we'd bet the river? or do you think it is for value?
