I am a devout utilitarian and would reccomend reading the works of John Stewart Mill and other similar philosophers. The meaning of life is to be happy and help others around you be happy and you can do whatever you want with your life. If you feel that working for 'the man' is getting you down because everything thing that is corporate is tainted then become a teacher and improve the lives of children. Do you think that teachers sometimes could make children unhappy? Then become a little league coach. You don't like children? Then, what do you like. Find whatever makes you happy and do it... the persuit of happiness is meaning in itself, the world isn't any deeper than that.
