Booking Hotel and Flight Packages - Best Site?

Any recommendations on a good site {Expedia, Travelocity, etc} for a hotel and flight package or is it best to just work through a travel agent (whom I'd assume is going to use similar tools)?

Use travelaxe.

It will search ~10 sites, and let you compare prices for every hotel listed. Awesome program.

What city will you depart from? Funjet Vacations and Apple Vacations have good air/hotel packages from many cities. Try their websites directly. If they don't depart your city, check with a local travel agent to see if another operator departs from your area. Many times tour operators (like Apple and Funjet) offer better air/hotel packages than Expedia, et al.

Still playing around with TravelAxe...but it actually didn't find any hotel/flight packages for the time frame I specified.

It appears to have an inline web driven search from OneTravel.com for the packages...and unlike Travelocity and Expedia, it is returning nothing for the time frame specified.

Will play with it a bit more...
