Default Wynn Las Vegas: Any Early Reviews?

Other than what I've seen on Daniel Negreanu's blog (the room is beautiful, says the guys who's hired to play there) I have not heard or seen much. Anyone had a look?

From what I understand it opens on the 28th... Am I wrong here?

But, yeah, the early reports are that it's supposed to be the nicest and most modern poker room in vegas.

On the 28th by invitation only. It opens to the public the following week. I have a friend who is invited , but he won't be taking me

I have a friend that works there. The 27th is by invite only and he says the doors are open for public on the 28th. He works in the poker room as well.

I drove by there there this weekend and the outside still looks a bit sloppy...I'm wondering if/when the crews start/started a 24hour push.

This is really off topic but:

I was highly disappointed in the professionalism they showed in their hiring process. One of my best friends had 2 interviews with them and then was told he would be notified about a 3rd interview by the end of February. He got a rejection letter today.

I am not angry that he wasn't hired, just surprised at the lack of notification and respect from an organization I have heard so much good about.

Make no mistake, I have a lot of respect for Steve Wynn, and all he has done for my town.

But, I have a lot of friends with similar sentiments regarding Wynn's bumbling circus of a hiring process.

For a guy that claims to put people first, Wynn sure does a crappy job of recruiting. I know a lot of exceptional casino industry employees that eventually opted out of the circus. It was just too unprofessional.
