Table selection

I have found that my winrate is heavily dependant on getting a loose table at this point, and I don't really have a good technique for ensuring I end up at a good table. Often I join a table with 39% players/flop and check PT later to find that the VPIP for the table is only 20%

for background, I am building a bankroll and have yet to sign up at party, but as soon as I get my money out of the cryptos (an annoying process) I will have 800 and plan to play 2/4.

So: what sorts of things do you do to make sure you get a good table?

Datamining/buddy lists, watching for telltale signs of poor play as you're waiting to post (cold calls, LP open limps, 5-6 way pots, etc.) That's all there is really.

Play the bad beat jackpot tables. They tend to be looser overall.

Get GameTime + which will update the table stats in close to real time and display them on the table. Sit down, play an orbit, if you don't like the table move on. I've moved four/five tables before I find one to sit at for awhile. Sometimes I'm out my post, sometimes I've taken down a pot. It's at least break even.

The latest update to GT+ allows you to use "simple" averages or "weighed" averages. Use the "simple" they're a better indication of how the table will play.

Is this observation or speculation? Is it enough looser to make up for the extra rake? I am curious because I am playing 2/4 at Party Skins now and looser is better.

It's safer to get more than 800$ before moving to 2/4
