Default Common NL situation against a lag I don\'t know how to play...

Someone wash the sand out of my vag. Villain is 40/15/2 and will go to showdown light.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

Button ($152.78)
SB ($317)
BB ($175.90)
UTG ($491.20)
Hero ($396)
CO ($894.30)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $2.
1 fold, Hero raises to $15, CO calls $15, 2 folds, BB calls $11.

Flop: ($47) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB checks, Hero bets $20, CO raises to $50, BB folds, Hero...?

Unless he'll raise here w/ air or a queen i think you need to fold, you can't play a big pot here OOP. But maybe i'm a sissy too.

Yeah that's what I thought too...but it seems like I'm giving up a lot here by folding.

Hmm i just noticed you bet less than half pot, you actually set yourself up for this one... bet the full pot on the flop, that makes folding to the raise a lot easier. It looks like you're taking a weak stab w/ JJ - you're asking him to take the pot away.

Betting full pot on this type of board is completely unnecessary. What's more important is that your bets are consistent and don't give away information about your hand. The lesson to be learned here has nothing to do with bet sizes, it is that ATo sucks to play out of position against aggressive opponents.

Sure there is. Just flop AAT everytime. That's what I usually do

BTW - Easy fold. Never play for a large pot with TPWK OOP.
