Default If You Were A Betting Man...

What kind of odds would you need for my Ducks to get into a BCS bowl game?

ESPN was saying that Fiesta bowl will pick ND, and our best chance is if then the the Sugar bowl picks PSU. They didn't say it was very likely Ohio State would go to the Fiesta. The way I see it, two at-large bids for three teams and Oregon is third on the list. I'd be satisfied if we got a pity bid from the times the BCS has screwed over the PAC-10.

edit: I wish we were in the big east.

Why isn't it likely OSU gets picked in the Fiesta Bowl? Seems to me the Fiesta Bowl committee is pretty happy with OSU fans in general, as they travel extremely well.

They have played in it two of the last three years. Bowl organizers get worried about stuff like this.

I think the Sugar will take Penn State. I still think the Fiesta will take Ohio State. Sucks, the fiesta bowl against Colorado was an absolutely amazing time. They know how to setup a bowl and the whole week was good. Crushing the Buffs was obviously excellent as well.

I did actually get sick of eating Tostitos. Day of the game my parents and I went ridiculously early and ate nothing but the the free chips and salsa they gave out. I was walking down the aisle with three of the little trays in my hand when Joey hit Sammie Parker and he scored the touchdown running straight at me. Somehow I managed not to drop them.

According to ESPN we would need Texas A&M to beat Texas so that Texas goes to the Fiesta bowl and they choose us over a rematch of the Texas - Ohio State game. That seems pretty unlikely. A hobbling Stanford beating Notre Dame may be more likely.

Being a Pitt student, you should know Walt Harris can't win a big game to save his life.
