I saw a guy check down trip 8s on the river once. I told him, "dude, you can bet that. I'll pay you off. I don't mind." For some players it is like they get to the river and then all of a sudden they are scared that if they bet, they'll lose the pot somehow. I love it when they do that because I call down with crap all the time.
