Default Week 9 - RB decisions

Need to start 2, yahoo default setting.

C. Portis vs Phi - Projected for 7.66 points
L. Johnson vs Oak- Projected for 12.32 points
W. Parker vs GB- Projected for 7.45 points
M. Pittman vs Car- Projected for 8.42 points

Since (if) Priest is out, I think Johnson is a given.

Now am I crazy to bench Portis for parker? Bettis is all banged up, and its vs green bay. And last week portis seemed banged up and left early.

Pittman, Im not sure why his projection is that high, but it seems Cadiallac is getting the start, and he's only projected for 1.56 points, hmm...

Step 1: ignore yahoo projections.

With that said, Johnson is an obvious play. I'd be inclined to play Parker as well. With Ben out, Pitt will be relying on the running game much more heavily (unless you think the game plan this week is to have Batch airing it out).

lol on step 1...

I agree on parker, but I like leaving in pittman to make my projections look bigger

Im sure Gavin is confident with his projection that Dilfer will be within 3 points of Carson Palmer this week.

Similar question. I am definitely starting C Martin and W. Parker, and need to start 1 more RB.

R Droughns vs the Titans or
J Lewis vs the Bengals

I would go with Droughns with the way Lewis has been playing lately, he's more consistent.

Why can't you think about it like :

With Ben out, GB knows the Steelers are going to try and pound the ball, so GB will be putting 8-9 men in the box forcing Batch to throw.

Wouldn't that line of thinking lead you to shy away from Parker? If OP had some scrub to replace Parker I'd say play Parker but because he has Portis, I'd say stick with him.

Mainly, I don't believe GB can stop Pit whether they attempt to pass it or run it. If Pit is going to run it, I expect that there is little GB can do to stop it.
