Instacall.

You are aways from the real money and you are going to need some luck and some chips to get there. If you fold and have 2.5XBB after the blinds pass you its time to go to bed anyhow.

I would be thrilled to see K6 there, and suited, and I would have called with anything but the absolute worst holdings. It is also my favorite hand to go out with.

How aggressive has villian been? I fold but $ev wise I think it might be close. The kicker is pretty key here I think.

well, are you trying to just move up the pay ladder or win the whole thing?
I personally never like to call all in with any 2 in this situation... but that's because I have faith in my ability to double up with a good hand soon after this one.

Like most 2+2ers I'm trying to make decisions that will win me the most $ in the long run as possible, which very rarely means attempting to survive and move up a spot (especially when you will be the shortest stack at the table if you fold here). If there were a number of other stacks smaller than you then that might be a consideration.

This ability is limited to the dealer's ability to deal you a good hand in the next 10 hands (and not deal someone else a better one). In other words it's not really an ability it's just a hope. And if the hope comes true you still won't be able to win as many chips as you can in this spot.

Also, K6s is not any 2. What range will a typical villain have here? You're getting 1.6-1 on a call. Against what I would imagine is a very wide range.

Villain's range is totally read dependent. K6 is good enough to call anyone.

Super agressive range for SB: any two.
Agressive range for SB: J5++
Tight range for SB: Q++
SB is uber tight and hoofed: K++

I agree. Even against a medium-tightish range (shown below) you're @ 1.6-1 dog, and you're getting 1.6-1 on a call. Considering that the villains range might be considerably looser AND adding your desprate chip situation I think it's a huge call.

equity (%) win (%) / tie (%)

Hand 1: 37.7900 % [ 00.37 00.01 ] { K6s }
Hand 2: 62.2100 % [ 00.61 00.01 ] { AA-22, AKs-A7s, KQs-K9s, QJs-QTs, JTs, AKo-A8o, KQo-K9o, QJo }

This is not a hand of mine BTW. A friend of mine was in the SB and was the pusher and didn't really get BB's call.
