Default AA w/ big stacks.

So I just took down a $2.8k coinflip w/ a fl draw + a overcard. The table views me as a idiot/maniac for this.

5/10 NL. Effective stack is $1.8k. CO opens for 4BB. All fold to me in BB, I have AA. I make it $250. I figure its either call or raise big, I raise big.

The flop is K 2 6 rainbow. I check. Betting here will get QQ- to fold and only KKK will give me action, no? he checks behind.

The turn is a 7. I check again. He bets 3/5. I call.

The river is a 5. We both check.

which leads us to the question of what villains hand range here is. If im villain here, I guess Id fold AK/AQ/Ax preflop.Id call w/ small SC and probably a few PPs.

I like the line very much up to the river. I think the pot is big enough that QQ-TT will check behind so they don't get blown off the hand and QQ-TT should also call 1/2 pot.

On the other hand, checking the river might induce a middle PP to try and blow you off the hand but I think it is pretty clear that Villain is KK-TT.

If you really do have a reckless image you might be able to 1/2 pot it all the way and get called down by QQ but that could get scary OOP.

any pair, ak, occaisonally a "favorite hand" such as t8s or whatnot. who knows? but thats a good place to start.
edit: By the way, I dont mean to imply your line was bad whatsoever, I like the flop check... It's so dry he either will overplay AK (likely, since he called the pfr) or will fold underpairs / stack you with kk. (or in the event he has asmaller set, stack you with that, unless he goes weak tighty fearing you have kk)

but you probably shoudl've thrown a bet in on the river

If they think you are a maniac or an idiot, this is the perfect time to pick up AA - Play it as fast as possible.

Good analysis. I'll make sure I write this all down in my notebook for the next time I play.
