Default Another Free Lunch

20/40 Hold Em live game.
Four fold and I raise with As,Qd. Folded to the button who calls. BB calls.

Flop: 7c,7d,5h

BB checks, I bet, button folds, blind calls.

Turn: [7c,7d,5h]9h

BB checks, I check.

River: [7c,7d,5h,9h]Tc

BB bets. I fold. BB flashes AT. How bad did I play it?

On low paired boards like that, I often fire another barrel. Otherwise, eh.

Same here, however, my ballz shrunk up on the turn, and I'll tell you why........Blind is capable of ck/raising on a semi-bluff, i.e., caught a straight or flush draw.
In any event, he only had 3 outs and got lucky.

Against a player like this, I wonder if checking the flop and then ck/raising the turn to counter his bluff bet works well.........No. I don't think I like that either.
