There is a good chance both of your straight odds are good and you may be ahead with your pair. Don't think of the worst possible hand villain can have.

I'm not. I haven't given him a specific hand, I've put him on a range. And his range is way, WAY ahead of my hand (yes even considering he could have a smaller pair... his range crushed mine). If I'm behind I have 8 outs at most, and about 6.5 on average. If I put him all-in I'm getting 1.5-1 on my money and I'm anywhere from 2-1 to 3-1 to outdraw him. This could be made up for when I get him to fold the best hand by pushing but unless I know he's really concerned about moving up a spot I think he'll call with all kinds of [censored] on this flop.

Even if the flop is just slightly different say T97, then i think your suggestion is a good one as i can be fairly certain all my outs are live, and this is a flop he's slightly less likely to have connected with.

I hate checking this flop, and think everyone who said to lead, and fold to a raise was correct.

I would proabably just push preflop. However, making a smaller raise is more standard.

I would also just push the flop. You have an open ended plus a pair. You have a 36% chance against a pair, which is close to the pot odds you are getting. There is a good chance a push will win the pot. Who knows what your opponent called your raise with in the blinds. The flop looks dangerous, but he may have totally missed it. He could also have an open ended without a pair.

Once you check and villain bets, again checkraise allin.

I don't see how you can fold this flop.

Agreed.

You are 36% against AJo, 90% against 66, and 85% against A6o. You are 3% against KQ, but there are very few hands where you are really far behind. If you add it up, I am pretty sure you are ahead of villain's range. Plus you have pot odds and folding equity, so you don't need to be ahead of villain's range.

Can't do this. You have a draw and a made hand. Villain could raise with a draw and/or a made hand. Once you bet, your pot odds are even greater and it is unlikely you are that far behind.

88 on a JT9 board is garbage in a multiway pot. Heads up in the blinds, it is fairly strong.
