Default A pair of stars 150 hands

Both from the 150+12.

1)
50/100 blinds, I have 1070 chips UTG with 77. Full table, everyone has me covered. I folded.

2)
50/100 blinds. 3800 stack open limps UTG+2 (he had limped a fair amount, once showing down 54s). I have 1150 chips with KQh, table still covers me, blinds have approx 2k each. I pushed.

First hand felt dead marginal, second hand felt like an almost autopush, though I'd feel more comfortable with 8-9 BBs than 11-12. I considered a limp push in the first hand, but thought that just gave me more races and more problems. I thought about opening for 350ish in the second hand, but I have to call most pushes and the limper will probably take a flop with me, which may or may not be good. Didn't think about limping it, felt too weak.

Just some weird spots. Comments?

Hand 1 is easy and well played.

Hand 2 is a really strange spot. I think raising to 375 or so and then pushing the flop HU if he checks is a good line that might be more effective in a)getting you some extra chips when he calls preflop and misses the flop or b) gives you a chance to get him to fold a hand like 44 on a J73 flop. However, if you get a good flop like Q high rainbow or something I'd consider checking behind or betting smaller on the flop.

And I do agree that if you elect to make it 375 and somebody pushes, calling is the best option.
