20/40 With Joe Tall and a Noob

Mirage, 20/40. I am on the button with KQs and open raise. Joe Tall 3 bets me out of the SB, okay-weird-cold-calls a lot noob guy cold calls 2 more in the BB, I 4 bet with K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. Both call.

Flop is 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Checked around. Turn is a 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Joe checks, noob bets, I fold.

i dont get why you would 4 bet pre-flop and not spend some of the likely advantage that bought you and bet the flop

I think because he figured he gets check-raised by me fairly often with the fruit-noob on my left; which I was actually planning to do.
