What do you think about this line?
Pacific 30/60 Hold'em
Preflop: Hero is MP with 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] hero raises, MP2 calls, CO 3 bets, Hero calls, MP2 calls. Flop: 3 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] Hero checks, MP2 checks, CO bets, hero calls, MP2 calls Turn: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO calls River: 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] Hero bets, MP2 calls, CO calls My thinking was that leading out on the turn like that would have been viewed as suspicious, and may have drawn a raise by MP2 or CO, especially if they held an overpair, and would then give me a chance to 3 bet. Without player reads, how would you guys have played this? |

Re: What do you think about this line?
With the aggressor in the CO here, I think you will be raised a large percentage of the time with a flop bet or 3 bet if you CR so I like either of those lines better.

Re: What do you think about this line?
I'm getting more active on the flop. A big pair is calling me down no matter what I do on the flop, high cards will pay off the flop and the turn.
If CO wakes up it might fold MP2, but then you're probably gonna be getting action from a mid PP or a wierd 3. Either way getting active on the flop is win/win. |

If he had an overpair, I think you would still get raised on the turn if you CR the flop or lead out so you probably missed some bets.

Re: What do you think about this line?
I think leading out on the flop would have been good. After I checked the flop, I was kind of afraid to checkraise because I didn't want to fold MP2. HU I agree. With MP2 in here does this change your thinking at all?
