Psychological effects of calling time

A little while ago I was in the big blind at a live tournament when the dealer started dealing the flop before I had a chance to act. He burned a card and had dealt out the flop, but not turned them over, before I called "Time." The dealer left the cards as they were I raised.

The dealer mistake doesn't bother me, those things happen, but I wonder what effect my interrupting the flop may have had on the other players. My first thought was that they would be more likely to think I had a high hand. My thinking was that with a marginal hand most players would not bother calling time and simply see the flop. Therefore, my raise was more likely to get respect from the other players at the table and be more likely to push players out.

How do you think my actions would be interpreted by the other players?

I would've been annoyed at you for waiting until the flop was almost out before calling time.

Other than that, I wouldn't think anything different than if you had raised right away.

Even pro dealers will make this rare mistake. Sometimes you don't have time, they just start dealing the flop. It's a more common mistake (than going to the flop) on later streets.
