Default Party Poker Special

I don't have much respect for the villain in this hand.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 4 handed) converter

Hero ($103.5)
Button ($77.65)
SB ($71.6)
BB ($110.2)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.5.
Hero raises to $4, Button calls $4, 2 folds.

Flop: ($9.50) Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $8, Button calls $8.

Turn: ($25.50) 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets $15, Button calls $15.

bleh...fold, seems like K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q ....thought his Q was good, then intrigued by 3rd spade giving him nut draw. Thats my thought at least. You could be up against just a weak ace, but id say play it safe.

Yuk. I lay this down. He could easily have one of the 3 spades that beat you. You'll pick him off in another hand.

I call, but I just got my ass handed to me last night, so what do I know?
I think you're a slight favorite here, but I could understand playing it safe.

I'm not sure why you are calling this a party poker special when you got yourself in this spot by raising ato UTG??

THe river decision depends on why you don't respect villain.
If he is one to call with ks 2d because his spade might get there then fold. If he likes to bluff in spots like this then call. You are really the only one who is able to make a decision in a spot like this, the forum doesn't have enough info.

BTW this villain you don't respect much put you to a much tougher decision than you ever put to him.

Why WOULDNT you raise A10o UTG in a 6 max game that is now four handed? Any ace is strong 4 handed and A10 is a monster. Chances are good though that his flush is beaten and he should fold.

How can you not raise ATo UTG in a 4-handed game??

I'd fold this, play it safe, wait for your chance.

Didn't notice it was 4 handed.

I don't like how easily you can assume its a fold just because you don't have the nuts though. Hero showed some weakness on the turn, and even more on the river. I think its alot more dependant on villains tendencies than the strength of hero's flush.
