Default Couldn\'t put him on anything better than me...

...so I 3-bet the river. Also, should I have raised this preflop? (Wow, just noticed reading the hand history that CO was posting... definitely should have raised, right?)

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $7.

SB checks, Hero bets, CO calls, SB folds.

Turn: (2.70 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)

Yeah, with the poster + SB only limping, I'd have raised preflop, too. When the river comes, I have to think that if it made CO a better hand than yours, you would have heard about it before.

I'd put him on a worse two pair, A4 or A2. 3-bet here looks solid, unless you have notes on him slowplaying big hands like a set (22, 44, 88).

I'd 3-bet, get capped and then get shown 53o for a straight. The guy posted in the CO so he litterally could have any 2 cards. A8 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] looks like a monster here against an LP poster who checked and the SB who completed. You have to raise this hand preflop.

ooh, didn't even think about the straight. In the hand I hadn't noticed that he was posting. Anyway, in this case, you would have been capped, called, and been shown A10, the one hand you were absolutely sure he didn't have

Okay, I'm just a newb here trying learn from other's hand postings. I'd also 3-bet the river under the premise that far more often I will be shown a worse two pair/ (bluff the ace as a scare card,Hero hasn't shown a TON of strength here.) then I will be shown a better hand.(though 3,5 seems plausable here)How's my logic? It almost seems too simple here, am I missing something deeper?
Also, wouldn't the set be played awfully slow? What would be gained by waiting till the river to raise over the turn?
