Default Lay down two pair?

The SB is tight passive. The main villain is LAG. For you PPokertracker fiends his numbers were 61/22/2.5 over about
100 hands.
Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ Hero (6 max, 10 handed) converter

UTG+1 ($121.85)

Button ($101.35)
SB ($109.95)
Hero ($140.5)
UTG ($161.3)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.5.

I fold this. I doubt 2c helped MP3, so that means most likely hand is a flopped set. Plus, way too many bad cards for you on the river if you plan on (Any K, 6 or spade).

i have no idea what either of those guys can have. regardless, you should have raised to $12.

here i'd call and block the river.

Drop it like its hot. MP isn't making a play on both of you. I'd guess K9 or a set of 6's. Sure you've got him sometimes, but not enough to call. You've got the river to worry about too. Fold.

I have no idea what they have either and I agree with you that I should have raised more, but it should be a full pot sized raise to $15. I would have felt better laying the hand down if I had raised it properly.

I was three tabling and didn't take the time to think. Mental error.

$3 pot + $3 bet + your $3 call = $9 pot => you make it $12

$15 would work too, but $12 is full pot
