Default Multi-tabling technique

I'm doing really well playing 2 tables at 2/4, but as soon as I go up to three or four I start to get uncomfortable, make rushed decisions and probably lose more money (no real evidence to back that up but it sure feels like it).

Are there any good tools out there to organize windows or use keyboard shortcuts? The only thing I've seen mentioned around here is multiple monitors, which I don't have the budget for just yet. Thanks

I don't think any tool or software will help you right now. Just practice getting more and more comfortable with 2. Eventually 3 or 4 will be easy

That may be a sign that you're taking more time to think about decisions than others, which isn't a bad thing, it just means you might not want to try more tables for the time being. If you want to ease in to more tables I suggest dropping down in limits and giving it a shot. That way you're less worried about costing yourself with dumb mistakes, and you can get a good handle on the faster pace.

I just feel like it would be so much easier if I didn't have to keep finding the right place on my desktop to click to bring up windows, etc.

Keyboard shortcuts are what I'm most interested in... no one has a way to do this?

the best way to get better is to just play more hands and learn to make simpler decisions faster. that'll leave you more time to make the tougher decisions

You don't need multiple monitors for 4-tabling. One monitor at 1600x1200 will fit 4 with little or no overlap.

It sounds to me like you do not have a montior that can handle 4 tables...thus you have overlap on your two tables (or perhaps the table is taking up the whole screen).

You need a montior with 1600x1200 resolution....anything less will result in overlap (although I'm comfortable on the 1400x1050 res I have on my laptop).

If your table is taking up the whole screen then it is EXTREMELY difficult to play more than 2 tables.
