Default 5-10 NL Hand

I've been struggling to do well lately, and I think the reason is mainly because of one hand a night where I don't fold or don't make enough on the hand. Here is the hand from last night:

5/10 NL Online

I'm in MP2 with AQo (~1500) and raise to 50 (a standard raise for me, I've been getting action with this raise). MP3 (has me covered) calls, everyone else folds.

MP3 is a decent, tight player. Haven't seen anything surprising (good or bad) from him.

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 10 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
Pot: 115ish
Check Check

Turn: J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
Pot: 115ish
Check, He bets 75, I reraise to 250. He calls.

River: J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
Pot: 615ish

I check, he bets 350, I...?

Lead the flop. Given you didn't, lead the turn, and hope to get raised.

I don't mind the CR that much, though.

Call the river.

All in if he's good.

The only holding you could possibly have at this point in his eyes is AQ, or much less likely KK, thus if he had a fh he would bet more. I think he has AQ as well.

I think u need to be more agressive. I would bet the flop there. Given that you didnt ur play on the turn was correct to check raise. At that point you def had hte nuts. On the river you bet out. Dont check the river. You need to explore where your hand is. I think he sucked out on u. I think by his betting he flopped a set and check which is really common. Probably jacks. But either way now you are in a horrible postion when you didnt bet the river cause u can only call or fold. if you bet it you would have been on the offensive and gained info. You know if he re-raises he in all liklihood has you beat. But you do call. Let me know the truth he had jacks right? Also on last thing difference between winning and loosing a lot of times is the hand you lay down. U need to take control of the action that will give you more insight and help you make a better decision.

Definitely jacks. Considering there wasn't one on the flop.

Thanks for the comments so far. Here are some of my own.

Preflop: I used to always open raise preflop with AQoff. Now I rarely do. I think there may have actually been a limper in this hand, but irregardless, should I never open raise preflop except in LP. When do most people raise pf with AQoff.

Flop: If I whiff a flop, I might bet it 50-75 percent of the time anyway. If I've got a strong draw, I'm definitely betting. Here I don't think I have that strong a draw. I think if I bet and get called, a jack is pretty much the only card that I can be really comfortable with. I really didn't like the option of betting this flop.

Turn: Here's where things got messy in my opinion. I do like the idea of betting and hoping to get raised, or taking it down. I think that's a very solid plan. I checked hoping to induce some sort of bluff. When he bet, I think I should have raised more. I'm now thinking to around 400-450ish. He's not calling a check raise with a bluff. I doubt he has AK or KQ, but even if he did, I really don't think he'd call a check raise with those (is this a bad assumption?) I really think he's only calling a check raise with a very solid hand like a set, possibly K10 or calling it with QJ. Maybe QJ would fold to a bigger check raise, but I don't think any set or K10 would.

River: I still have no idea what to do on the river. If I bet out and he raises, I'm screwed. Is a fold a viable option?

What hands could you put the villain on?
