Default AKo, a raise and 4 calls

$25 NL. I have $27, AKo on the button.

UTG raises to $1, 4 players cold-call.

1) what do I do?
2) why is that the most profitable way to play it?

Reraise because you likely have the best hand and can get small pairs to fold. I would make it 8.

Seeing a flop (just calling) is not a bad move.

Why is an isolation raise more profitable than a push or a call?

Why is an isolation raise more proitable than a push or a call?

AK is a drawing hand - you want to get the SCs and smaller PPs out of the way.

it's also easier to fire a c-bet in position and take down the pot when you're HU and you reraised pf.
