AT BB hand 1/2, am I a wuss?
SB is a pretty tight and conservative player, no read on the CO. Didn't have many chips at the table so he could be a spewer or bad player?
CO limps, SB limps, I raise in the BB with ATo, both call. Flop comes 4c Qc 9s I bet, CO raises, SB cold calls, I call. Turn As, I lead out to not give a free card, CO raises, SB cold calls again, I just call? I guess I was fearing a Q9 or A9 in my mind. river Th I lead out again, CO raises, sb folds, Hero calls. Mainly wondering about turn play lead and action after I get raised, and then the river play. |

Re: AT BB hand 1/2, am I a wuss?
You played it fine. With the preflop action and flop action your hand looks like a big ace (do these guys read hands?) When you donkbet the turn and get raised he tells you he can beat an Ace or is looking for a free showdown (do these guys look for free showdowns?) When you donkbet the river and get raised he is telling you he still doesn't care if you improved.
The title leads me to believe you were good and think you should have 3bet the river. Try not to title you posts so that it gives away the play. |

Re: AT BB hand 1/2, am I a wuss?
Nice turn play, donk.
I do the same. I think you can check raise the river. The guy has two pair usually. Having bet and gotten raised I can find a 3 bet if I'm tilting even a little bit. (which is to say, I think it's rather close) ZZZ |

Re: AT BB hand 1/2, am I a wuss?
unless you have the Ac I might fold the flop. And I'd probably fold the turn.
edit: actually at 1/2 I'd call the turn. But flop call is real thin unless you have the Ac. |

I would have tried for a river c/r and called if he 3bet.
