A9 UTG with 10xBB...blinds going up next hand
A9off and a tight aggressive image at the final table of a 2 table SNG. 8 people on the table. The blinds are 50/100 and I have 1010 in chips, but the blinds are going up next hand to 75/150. Push here, or pay the 225 and go with a better hand/better position?

position? [/ QUOTE ] see title. personally I fold. an A9 push with a normal table is slightly -EV as you're only going to be called by hands that you are way behind. Patience |

see title. [/ QUOTE ] To the OP, I don't like this spot. If you get called often you are dominated, which being sooted doesn't make up for often enough. Regards, Woodguy |

Re: A9 UTG with 10xBB...blinds going up next hand
Generally speaking A9 isn't something I want to be pushing or even playing from utg 8 handed, but you really need to take into consideration the other stack sizes at the table before making a decision.
