How Much To Bet: Final Two

Winner take all. 2 Players left. Stacks virtually even at 215,000T. Blinds are 1,000-2,000 antes are $200. I was trying to mix up my opening bets by ranging anywhere from 3 x bb to 5 x bb, but in retrospect this doesn't seem right. This was my fisrt time in this situation and would appreciate some guidance in pot building and opening bids as percentage of stack rather than a multiple of big blind.
