Default Pacific 10-20/15-30: REALLY that weak?

i played quite a bit of 10-20 and 15-30 on pacific earlier this year. while amazed at how atrocious the level of play was, i still left the site because of the obvious reasons we all know - disconnections, terrible/no customer service, just 1 table at a time, etc. recently, i decided to try giving it a go again, and after a few days the players still seem pretty darned bad. i had expected the level of play to improve over there over time, but it seems it has not.

has anyone played there RECENTLY, and gotten the vibe that i got, that the 10-20/15-30 plays like a 5-10 at party?

You would have a hard time finding a 5/10 Party game that's as weak as a typical 15/30 Pacific game.

I'd appreciate it greatly if you'd just keep this under your hat.

I still play there every day all those problems notwithstanding.

its not nearly as weak as it used to be. i find it to be more of a tight/passive game in relation to party. i played there for a bit when games were a laugh...but i think the cons of the site outwiegh the pros of a slightly easier game. (play about 75% of hands/h than at party + one table + many others.)I still check it out once in a while though.

The slow software and single table limit keep the multitabling cockroaches away. Don't worry about it.

It has tightened up somewhat. There are more sharks now than there were. The software has been improved a little but you still can get disconnected (although now it manages to reconnect automatically). I would say it's broadly comparable with Party ie you will find all sorts.

perhaps the worst software in the history of online poker, yet the site is always high volume and full of bad players, I usually have my 1 alotted table up while im multitabling my regular site

The 10/20 is incredibly soft, the 15/30 can be quite sharky. It really depends on the time of day.

The 5/10, however, is simply wonderful. I'm +295BB after 1,800 hands.
