i agree with r3whatever cuz if he has AA 15% and AK/AQ 10% for this call to be incorrect (quick guess), when you are ahead its usually 60/40 and when behind you are WAYYY behind.

I'd surely make this call if the other guy flashed J2. I don't think "never" is a great word to use.

I got it all-in preflop once with AJo vs J2s. Good stuff.

Yeah, I expect this hand to be more of a 'one time I' story than anything else.

He was playing crazy, my button raise was not as much as I usually make it, as soon as I made it and he hesitated I told myself he was going to push all in like he has AA.

If he raises a sane amount I fold or call.

If I were multitabling its a no-brainer fold and I'm out 400 dollars and a sweet hand.

You may use your brain before asking things.

I do use my brain. I spoke w/ villain as we went through his hands after that session and could not for the life of me understand his call. In my opinion it takes a RIDICULOUS read + a little gamble in the blood to make this call. Also my argument was that even if he was right in his read, there are going to be better spots to stack this donk.

Yes, he could wait for a better spot.

But if he knows this guys a maniac then he knows he is a favorite and has pos ev. If he can afford the variance then it's a good call.

I'd call there. I have gamble and its appears to be a clear bluff. Maybe i have too much gamble but hey you only live once. Also, its not typical i normally play the 400 and 600 and have seen this but very rarly.

It can be correct. Logic tells u the guy going all in has no AA KK QQ Strong means weak weak means strong. WIth a healthy roll i def call. If he does have a premium hand Well i guess down a few. His all in could never be correct. He is betting 400 to win 30 no way his play is correct. A call i think is fine. Again its tough but if you have gamble and a roll i think its easy call. Answer this why would he go all in if he were so strong?

Your math is wrong he will have AA 1% of the time (at best) AQ 10% and AK 5% this is being friendly. If he is stupid enouhgt to bet 400 with AA then ill write him a check write now.

it is nice to see a rando push of honor will work against players like yourself.

the fact you assign bad arbitrary percentages make jamming the aces here a positive play.

regardless, threads like this are annoying and pointless.

even more annoying when under the guise of "is this typical...", etc. no one cares.
