I agree cocaroach, but was the play good or bad? He folds just about any pp to a turn bet, and is a solid player who if he is on a draw (and hasn't given in to the 'awesome' strategy of capping any draw heads up) would probably give up on the turn to a smallish pot.

for some reason do you think he's folding an A or flush draw on the turn?

you cost yourself bets....whole EV bets, not just fractions of bets.

This isn't no limit. Bet your own hand, esp with position. You lost at least 2 extra BBs if BB had the flush draw.

theres an ace and flush draw out there

betting here also lets you bet other turns...now when you check later on it shows you dont have as good a hand.

I think he's folding a draw as he isn't getting odds and knows I won't go rediculous bets without having him beat, and that if he had an A he would have raised by now. Whereas if he has a medium pair or 2nd he is going to lead the river (even with a busted draw), and have trouble folding to a raise (with a pair). So how am I not getting the most from a weak pair while getting more than I should from a draw?

I bet turn he calls, makes his flush then leads and I raise the river. So in other words, I make 1 extra bet from his draw, and lose from the middle pairs that give me respect for at least an ace or overpair if I keep betting.
