Default Ring game rake vs. Tourney rake

On avg. will you pay less rake playing in STT vs. ring games? I'm guessing the answer is yes. Is this correct?

Thanks

it depends on profitability and level. If I play 50-100NL, the rake compared to the winrate is clearly going to be less than playing 200+15s or whatever. I think. at the low-mid limits rake definitely kills you

Thanks, yes at 50-100NL the rake is chump change. The heart of rake in a ring game is 1/2 to 5/10 I believe. Of course the only way to make money where the rake doesn't hurt is playing high stakes but I think STT at a reasonable buy in has something more to offer.
