Are there players against whom u could fold the turn or river? I never do, and its almost certainly (in all probability) selective memory but it seems sometimes like I should be able to.

If you would consider folding he'd have to be real passive, so how long before you could believe in such a read strongly enough to make a big fold like this?

opponent here is like 70/7, so maybe I should have folded preflop if I'm this willing to give him an overpair rather quickly. i like my play

What was his AGF? Is he a habitual bluffer?

I'd 3B the flop also...

I had just sat down and has about 180 datamined hands.

Its not that I really question my play here, but the hand made me think about whether I could ever be so sure of my opponent's hand in an online 6-max game to fold in such a spot.

I would call the raise on the flop and donkbet the turn. If he raises me on the turn as well I would very often fold.

3bet the flop, lead the turn is my standard line.

...folding to a turn raise and bet/folding the river if called on the turn?

Does an A or K on the turn or river affect your line?

for value or "information" or some combo?

What does the reasoning behind a flop 3-bet sound like?

I would call the raise on the flop and donkbet the turn.

Why not 3-bet the flop if you are gonna donkbet any turn?

Would an A on he turn change your plan?

If he raises me on the turn as well I would very often fold.

If you can't fold to a raise (excepting the extreme case where soemone bluffs raises the turn so much you want them to raise), aren't you better off checking and letting that player bet, as if he bluff raises enough on the turn he almost assuredly bets the turn unimproved after you check?

And if you bet and he raises on the turn, you'd be getting 9-1 with a probable 5 outer and a high percentage of executing a river check-raise, so you'd have to call even if you knew he had an overpair, right?

yea, without a nice read.

Curse while bet/folding. Not calling without a read.

The reason I like flop 3betting is for value, and if he caps I can get away from it if I havent seen this guy raise with overs.

Also you're not going to get bluff-raised nearly as much after 3betting the flop and makes it easier to toss for me.

Don't know how right any of this is

If you 3-bet the flop and are then raised on the turn you'd be getting 10-1 with 5 outs against all but TT, 77 and 55. given our opponent's tight pfr standards and the T in my hand, I think a set is unlikely and folding might not be so great.
