i understand they suck and the yanks should be favored big. but does a major league team ever have a legitimate 80% chance of beating another major league team?

[/ QUOTE ]

yes when a team has a record that includes dropping 19 straight games.

[/ QUOTE ]

Did you come to 2+2 for the sports betting section? If KC had a better record than, lets just say, Minnesota, would it matter whether they lost 19 in a row. And what does them losing 19 in a row have to do with whether they have a 80% chance or better tomorrow of losing? Are you really going to put -370 on this game (I am not saying the other side is good either). Anywyas, o/u on your posts under this name 35.

do you play for KC? i can't think of any other reason why you would think dropping 19 games doesn't have any relevance when laying down $ on this game. me, i'm sitting this one out. i won't put -370 down on the yanks becuase KC has had some wins in the past few days. i'm pretty sure they'll get crushed. but the odds aren't anything i care to take in this case.

my point was, don't be on a crap team just because the payoff if they win is big. that's not a smart betting strategy because THEY HARDLY EVER WIN.

As a matter of fact, he does pitch for the Royals. He's also big on finding patterns in betting in Roulette and Bacarrat.

i think i also read his book on picking Lotto numbers. hasn't worked yet, but i haven't given up hope!

First off, there is no proof that is my book on picking lottery numbers. That book was written under a pseudonym (Lidle Pcker). As far as me pitching for the Royals, I used to pitch for them, but I refused to use any perfomance enhancing drugs (back then we just snorted coke off of hookers boobs...i guess with my current history I should make a run again).

Also, Shakes, it isn't Baccarat that I am perfecting. It is Casino War. And if you even let ONE WORD of my system for Roulette out your 2+2 days are over. I will have Tech ban you so fast for spam. A lot of people are new here, but I still remember you spamming your site Phil Steele is God, I wish I could pick as good as him.com

KC is a ridiculously easy bet today. I love 'em at +345 and I love 'em at +1.5 +1.63.

The question is "how often does it happen?" The answer is: Not anywhere near this often! Johnson is a mediocre middle of the road starter. Forget about the Cy Young awards and World series MVP tophies in his past. This year he is a bum with a 4+ era and a penchant for giving up the long ball. It aint the same old nasty unit this year. And so far this Wood for KC hasn't been so bad. Don't look at the names but just ther numbers and you'd say KC has a starting pitching edge. KC is loose as can be with the losing streak past history and the Yankees are under intense pressure needing to justify their bloated payroll.

Should the yankees win tonight? Yeah they probably should. But at this price you're getting more than enough pot odds to call and maybe even raise!

Totally agree... I'm not sure I can think of a matchup in baseball that would justify this price. Perhaps anyone against Claudio Vargas.

It seems some people like KC here. My original argument was not that KC was a good bet, but that the reasoning for them not being a good bet was not solid. Of course they suck. Everyone knows they suck. If they didn't suck there is no way there would be a line of -370. But, KC is also a bad bet because of the huge juice. At pinnacle, where it is lowest, there is a 40 cent difference between the fav and dog on this line. That is humongous. But, at the same time, it is only a 2% difference in win rate.

They are -375?! This is the biggest favorite I have ever seen. Sure I am a yankee fan but you have to think taking the royals would be a pretty good bet. Johnson is always liable to give up 3 or 4 homeruns in the game.

[/ QUOTE ]

Well, when all was said and done I got a great line on KC. +355, I couldn't pass it up. It is the 4th and 0-0. So, I guess I just jynxed it.
