Pokertracker Question
The people in the beginner's forum said to post this here as I would get more help.
Do you guys have seperate databases for all the different sites/limits you play? I moved up from .05/.1 to .25/.50 and I was wondering if I should make a seperate database for it. Right now I one database for limit and one database for no limit tournaments. If I do make a new database, what information should I import from the other? Do you guys have seperate databases for different sites? Thanks alot. |

Re: Pokertracker Question
I use different databases for each limit at each site for 2 reasons. First, I have a really old computer, so I wanted to keep the database size small. Second, I like to datamine, so I figured that keeping the limits separate would enable me to use the mined information more effectively by limiting the manipulation of irrelevant data when rating players, etc. Just my preference...

Re: Pokertracker Question
Data from limits that I no longer play. However, I just noticed you can autorate based on only specific limits. Not sure how that compares in speed to using a separate database for each limit. I might not actually matter for most people. I mainly use separate databases because my computer is terrible. I may just use one once I get a new computer and use the new PT database type (don't remember the name).
