Default We Love You, Dikshit

Dear Dikshit,
I always knew you would find a way [censored] the princess. I was wondering how you would do it, and now I know. I am stupified, however, to discover that you have also [censored] yourself at the same time. You two really should make a video and post it on the web. It will probably provide you with more revenue than you are going to make in the internet poker business from here on out.

I bet the next step in your staggeringly brilliant business plan is to raise the rake to make up your lost profits from all the players you are going to lose. Then, your revenues will surely skyrocket.

Your exploits are going to go down in history as the biggest IPO scam of all time. You will end up in jail or will wind up being shot by someone who was stupid enough to invest a lot of money in you. In the meantime you will be sued by everyone who can figure out a way to do it. I am going to enjoy watching you burn.

I always knew you would figure out a way to [censored] up the best thing going in online poker. Enjoy the race to the bottom. You've really earned it.

Yours Sincerely,
X

P.S. 2+2, sorry for the new thread, I know lots of you will hate it. The only thing to do was post my frustrations. Give me a shout if you think Party Gaming has really [censored] themselves or never had any other intention than to bilk the London Stock Exchange out of a few billion. Hello, Pokerstars.

I don't know what percentage of the rake from the skins was going back to party in the first place...but I suspect it was not THAT much.

If just a few of the skins-multitablers decide to take their full-time play over to party then that will actually be BETTER for them (potentially) then their current situation where they perhaps just get a very small fraction of all that play.

I don't really know though.
but I can't imagine that their current way of doing things (having all their high-volume players migrate to skins....while chat-box spammers go after every other player out there) was in their best interest.

Personally, I'm really surprised they didn't do something like a lot earlier. They seemed to permit it for an awfully long time.

Yeah I was talking to one of my friends who plays NL on Pokerroom, and was telling him how I used to play exclusively on Party, but moved to Empire and got to play the same tables except got rakeback, and he asked "why would Party want to do that", and I was like "Umm, I don't know". So I'm not too surprised.

Don't forget to be pushing those BJ sidebets, Voltron. They sure look like they're plus EV to me. With a single deck, sure looks like you can't loose.

It's not about being able to win or not without rake back. A person can still make thosuands per month playing online but even if they are losing their 3-5k rake rebate per month thats still 36-60k a year.... that's not chump change.
