oh im glad you bumped this -- i think im out =( couldnt convince my friend that lives in connecticut to make the trip, and im not really up for the long drive solo.

I'm probably heading down this Friday, December 23rd for the $80+$20 tourney. But I work Wednesdays, so I can't make it next week. Best of luck to all of you.

[/ QUOTE ] I know the Friday tourney you start with 2,000 chips and blinds at 25/25 and rising every 20 minutes: 25/25 25/50 50/100 100/200 So if you don't get anything going within the first hour, it's push or fold time. By the final table, usually the blinds and antes are so high that even the chip leader isn't safe. Case in point, I made the final table in 4th position in an event with 28,000 chips. The leader had 45,000. Blinds were 2K/4K and by the time I was out 4K/8K with antes as well. Not much manuevering room. But plenty of weak players who will give you their chips. |
