Default MP3 player FM tuners

A good friend of mine recently got an ITuner for his car. I absolutely LOVE this thing. Consequently, I have been looking into FM tuners for my MP3 player. However, I do not have an Ipod, but Samsung MP3 player.

I can comment firsthand on the quality of the Ipods tuner, I cannot on the quality of the "one size fits all" tuners I am going to have to buy. I was wondering if any of you had experience with these tuners, or recommendatuions for a good one that is compatible with any MP3 player.

some examples

I have the Belkin TuneCast II. It works about as well as I could expect one of these things to work. Get the one that doesn't just have 4 preset stations you can tune to, but one that you can tune to any station.

Mostly that if you're in a city with a lot of radio stations, it can be hard to find a good frequency. Also, it seems to pump up the bass quite a bit.

But under normal conditions (a vacant station to tune), the signal quality and sound quality (albeit bassy), are pretty good?

Let me put it this way, on a normal day, on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being CD quality sound) - where does your tuner fall?

It sounds like the radio... probably 7-8ish. I'd much rather get something more hard-wired in there, but it's serviceable.
